Base64 Decode

Paste a Base64 string or Data URI and see what it is — text, image, PDF, audio, or binary. This page opens Decode mode with live preview and one-click download.

How to use Base64 Decode

  1. 1. Paste Base64. Raw Base64, Base64URL, or a full `data:…;base64,…` URI. Whitespace and MIME wrapping are fine.
  2. 2. Inspect the preview. The studio detects images, PDFs, audio, fonts, JSON, and plain text automatically.
  3. 3. Copy or save. Copy decoded text/hex, or download the reconstructed file. Nothing is uploaded.

About this tool

“Base64 decode” and “base 64 decode” are the reverse of encode: recover original bytes or a preview from an API string, JWT fragment, or email attachment.

Data URIs and MIME wrap

Paste either the bare payload or a full Data URI. Line breaks at 64 or 76 characters (MIME) are stripped before decode.

Base64 to image / PDF

When magic bytes match images or `%PDF-`, the studio previews and lets you download with the correct extension.
