How to use UPI QR Code Generator
- 1. Enter your UPI ID. The VPA from your UPI app, like name@okhdfcbank — double-check it, payments go wherever this points.
- 2. Add name and optional amount. A payee name shows in the payer's app. A fixed amount locks the value; leave it empty to let payers type.
- 3. Print the A4 sheet. Export a sticker sheet for the counter, or a single PNG/SVG/PDF for invoices and websites.
About this tool
UPI QR codes are the upi://pay URI in a camera-friendly wrapper: pa (VPA), pn (name), am (amount), cu (currency), tn (note). Any NPCI-compliant app — GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, banking apps — opens its payment screen from this link.
Static UPI codes and safety
The code contains only your receiving address — scanning it can never pull money from the payer without their approval in-app, and it cannot expire. Verify the VPA before printing: a typo sends payments to someone else's ID.
Fixed amount vs open amount
Shops usually print an open-amount code and let customers type the bill. Fixed amounts suit event tickets or standard fees — generate one code per price with the bulk tool.
