How to use vCard QR Code Generator
- 1. Fill in your details. At minimum a name; phone, email, company, title, website, and address are optional.
- 2. Brand it. Add your logo and brand colors — error correction rises automatically so the code still scans.
- 3. Print or embed. Export SVG for business cards and email signatures, PNG for slides, or PDF for print.
About this tool
The code embeds a vCard 3.0 document, the same format contact apps exchange. Unlike hosted 'digital business card' services there is no profile page and no tracking — the scan writes your details directly into the phone.
vCard vs a link to a profile
Hosted card services put a URL in the code and host your details behind it — which means analytics for them and a broken card if the service dies. A raw vCard works offline, forever, with nothing in between.
Keep it scannable on a business card
vCards are dense; a full profile can reach QR version 15+. Print at least 2×2cm, keep quiet zone at 4 modules, and skip fields you don't need — shorter payload, coarser modules, easier scan.
